Simplicity and serenity unfolds in a master bedroom inspired by the homeowner’s rug from their travels to India.  The homeowner’s existing modern dresser and mirror are mixed with ethnic touches using texture and pops of color.   Textures emerge within the room by layering the rugs, using a carved wooden headboard and integrating mercury glass accents.   Colors of yellow, blue and turquoise are taken from the rug and repeated in a handful accessories such as vases, pillows and a throw blanket.
